Although Kent has produced many bronzes, his favorite sculpting medium is cast granite "It allows me to feature glass eyes. I believe the eyes are the most distinctive characteristic of the finished work."
Subjects are sculpted in clay then rubber molded and cast using the lay-up method. The lay-up method keeps the weight down and allows for appendages. After removing each sculpture from the initial mold, they are formed, textured and individually painted, making each an original.
